This pizza is worth going out of the way for! The ingredients are fresh and authentic, and the gentlemen that serve the customers are polite and accommodating to make sure that my order is correct and complete. And because of their outdoor eating area, it's a great place to enjoy a meal on a warm day. I highly recommend this restaurant!

There's some seating if you want to eat in, but we never have. Always carryout. Great menu choices and the only pizza joint around that does a cauliflour crust pizza right! Everything we've tried has been good. ππ» for pick up or delivery night.

We've been buying Amato's for 20+. I remember when they first opened and I was excited to have a descent Pizzeria close by. Over the years they became GoTo for carry-out. They still are. I truly love their thin crust with sausage and mushroom. We ordered Pene Marinara with meatballs on the side, and spaghetti with sausage tonight as well as the Wisconsin cheese curds and the monster brownie. Never had the brownie but am eager to try it. : ) An incredible little pizzeria tucked away in a little strip mall and they serve awesome fresh food. Try their Shrimp dinner sometime!

Welp it's true that nothing ever stays the same. Tonight we decided to get a pizza. I talked everyone into getting Amatoβs. I have been a fan since the 80's. We would go to Chicago's Galewood location which has been around since the 60's I think. Pizza was always delicious. Fast forward to tonight. We ordered a Cheese / Green Pepper/ Onion for pickup. Order was ready as promised. My friend picked it up right away and got it to us. We were excited and hungry. Presentation looked good and somewhat inviting. Pizza was very bland and lukewarm. Crust was sort of doughy in spots. I had to add an abundance of crushed red peppers to help it. Family members tried to push through a couple of slices but then stopped as did I. So very disappointed. However I do plan to go to another location in the city. (Chicago) Just for nostalgia sake. ** Update** I was contacted by someone from Amatoβs who apologized for the experience we had. I appreciated them acknowledging my history with the chain. Old folks know the true history of Chicago Amatoβs! We know how down right delicious it is. π I will revisit again.

Our new to us restaurant this weekend...Amatos in Naperville. We ordered bread sticks and pizza. Bread sticks were just that.. Bread in stick form. Kind of dry I wish they had butter or something on them. No big deal. But this pizza. That pizza was SO good. The crust was perfectly cooked; not too thick but not too thin. The cheese was layered on and the sausage and pepperoni were under the cheese, which i prefer. I want to make a mention about the staff. They were younger, teens or maybe early 20s. But the customer service in there was above anything I expected. They were polite and friendly. They were attentive and just really seemed to care that the customers were happy. It was so far beyond what you're used to seeing, especially in a mostly carry out pizza place. We would definitely return.
